Application Research on the Integrated Geological Forecast in Advance in Construction of Xiaopingzi Tunnel

Abstract:Research purposes: The purposes of this paper are about how to forecast the geological condition of area ahead of workface of tunnel so as to reduce happening of geological disaster in cause of construction.
Research methods: On the base of geological theory, the research was made on the different stages of macro forecast, long-term forecast, short-term forecast and approach forecast of geological forecast in advance by adopting integrated methods of geology, geophysical exploration and probing in combination with practical experience.
Research results: The forecast methods were obtained for one stage and different stages of geological forecast, the Relations were presented among various methods used by the system for geological forecast in advance, and the steps and methods taken for geological forecast in advance were proposed, including the problems for attention in construction.
Research conclusions: During geological forecast for construction of large deep-buried tunnel, only the integrated methods of theory, geophysics and probing were adopted on the base of macro, long-term, short-teen and approach thoughts could good result be obtained.
