Abstract:Research purposes: Construction of Changshou-Dianjiang-Liangping Railway will turn region's resource superiority into economic superiority rapidly , so design of railway scheme with less line length , less amount of work and less investment has a very important significance for both of promoting development of region’s economy and improving the structure of railway network.
Research methods: Based on the economic and natural conditions and engineering characteristics along planned Changshou-Dianjiang-Liangping Railway Line, the track scheme is optimized through making analysis of the design scheme of the run of railway line, design grade and track joining in order to save investment and coordinate the railway with other infrastructures.
Research Conclusions: A scheme of railway line is proposed with less line length, less amount of work and less investment through making research on the design of route selection. This scheme not only can coordinate the railway with other infrastructures and planned construction projects organically, but also can better meet the requirements of railway transport.
