Abstract:Research purposes: The design proposal of entrance/exit line from depot of metro plays an important role in the operation efficiency and cost of metro. The new operation mode for Guangzhou Metro Line 3 that 3 car train formation and 6 car train formation are used in turn in the operation is used first in China, which requires more capacity of the entrance/exit line from depot. The design optimization proposal and analysis of capacity of the entrance/exit line from depot not only are of far importance for Guangzhou Metro Line 3,but also may provide a reference to design of other metro depots.
Research methods: According to the comparison and analysis of design proposals and the capacity calculation analysis in the recommended proposal of the entrance/exit line from depot of Guangzhou Metro Line 3,this paper studies the reasonableness and applicability of the design proposal.
Research Conclusions: Under the restriction condition of land use and position of station and depot of Guangzhou Metro Line 3,the optimized design proposal has a strong advantage,which can meet the requirements of new operation mode of Metro Line 3.
