Abstract:Research purposes:Based on the study on large area of rock block field, rock glacier slide at DK 51+300 to DK 56+300 in Tonghua-Guanshui section of the east railway of northeast China railway corridor , the analyses of formation age , genetic type and active trend of rock block field and rock glacier side are made according to the distribution area , developing thicknesses, geomorphologic conditions , geological features and active trend of the rock block field and rock glacier side, and the active types and the impacts of the rock block field and rock glacier side on the railway construction are classified.
Research conclusions:The rock block field, rock glacier side and rock stream are the unstable bodies of loose heap to cause the appearance of periglacial geomorphy in cold frozen soil maintain area with much impacts on railway construction. The comprehensive exploration and physical prospecting should be conducted gradually in due order from the shallow area to deep area so as to well know the distribution range, thick variations, scope, rock characters and particle sizes and classifications of rock block and of rock block field, rock glacier side and rock stream. Also the analyses of genetic cause for the rock block field and rock glacier side should be made and their active types should be classified on the base of their active trend.
