Abstract：The geology radar is a kind of rapid and high efficiency detecting technique with high resolving power and high accuracy，so as to obtain a quick popularization and applications. The paper introduces mainly the basic principles，means and the parameter installation of the geology radar examination method，as well as analyzing and expounding the different wave-shapes occurred in application of the examination of railway tunnel lining. It is recognized firmly that this method play very important role on eliminating the tunnel defects as soon as possible.
