Abstract：The application of steel fiber shotcrete as permanent lining had been utilized for the first time by the Second Railway Engineering Bureau. Not only the construction speed was quickened, but also the construction cost was reduced. The anti-crack property, ductility, toughness and anti-shock properties were improved remarkably. It is a new-type composite materials used by the Bureau, having important meaning in the application scope of the new materials.
