Research on the Construction Scheme of Foshan West Railway Station of Guangzhou Railway Hub |

Abstract Research purposes:Combining with the current situation and planning layout of Guangzhou railway hub, according to the nature and characteristics of railway lines,passenger flow line,urban rail transit and passenger transfer requirements,on the basis of analyzing the present situation and problems of the hub passenger transport system and the positioning and function of the newly-built Foshan West Railway Station,the paper demonstrates the relationship among the station site selection,city planning, the station building layout and transport characteristics,puts forward the reasonable scale and layout plan of station yard and station building,which provides beneficial reference for the future construction of large passenger station.
Research conclusions:(1)In economically developed areas,when railway passenger traffic and passenger flow grow too fast and exceed hub passenger capacity,a new passenger station needs to be considered.(2)About the new station site,on one hand a smooth railway line should be taken into account according to passenger traffic and passenger flow, on the other hand the accessibility of urban passenger should be considered in accordance with urban traffic planning. (3)Considering the nature and characteristics of railway lines,the station scale and layout should be designed reasonably to reduce the interference and cross,improve the sending and receiving capacity and carrying capacity. (4)The quantity and arrangement of the station building should be set reasonably according to passenger flow line,urban rail transit and passenger transfer requirements.
