Abstract The environment protection work in constructing Qinghai-Tibet railway attracts worldwide attention. In order to control effectively the influence of the railway construction on the ecological environment along the railway, the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Construction Management Center explores and perfects a set of management mode for environment protection work during the railway construction. The paper presents the management system and measures of environment protection work in details so that it can provide references for environment protection work of railway and roadway construction in other districts in China.
