Abstract For newly developed hydraulic press used for connecting the integral droppers of the catenary by hydraulic pressure, its developing situation structure as a whole, principles of design, main technical indexes, etc. are introduced in this paper. This press has been developed against the pressure connection and the test in situ for the integral droppers of the catenary. It is suitable also for the pressure connection of other catenary spare parts.
