Abstract This paper describes the strengthening technique by grouting and concrete construction process for deep burying karst cave with filling silty clay of Yuanliang Mountain Tunnel on Chongqing-Huaihua, The frequency of crossgrout occurring in tunnel construction can be reduced and the strengthening feeect by grouting can be ensured by adapting this technique. The technique is worth being widely adapted.
