Abstract：Research purposes: Boosting of 35 kV neutral-point of SHEBU transformer caused by extinction coil is not good for the normal work of the equipment. With the data on bus bar three-phase voltage to ground, the neutral-point voltage and the imbalance degree of wire-to-earth of the system are calculated, the reasons for the problem mentioned above are analyzed, and the measures for them are presented.
Research conclusions: The main reason for the boosting caused by extinction. coil is that the imbalance degree of wire-to-earth capacity is over high. The ideal resolution is to replace extinction coil of SHEBU transformer with the one that can automatically trace and adjust the compensative current.
