Abstract：Research purposes ： On the basis of introducing the birth background of OPC technology，application modes of OPC technology and fundamental conceptions of OPC interface，and take the Building Management System ( BMS) of Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center for example, this paper discusses the application of OPC technology in the fields of intelligent building 9 especially introduces the conceptions of OPC technology as a uniform communication method，to solve the problem in the data exchange between networks of different Fieldbus control system and improve the efficiency of data exchange in systems integration.
Research conclusions ： The OPC technology is an efficient and unifiable interface technology. The application of OPC makes it possible to process the different part of data with a unifiable method in the upper of integrated management system. The appears of technology of OPC makes it possible to exoteric, seamless system link of building automation control subsystem, hosting the maneuverability of systems, reducing the investment of system and reducing the time of development.
