Abstract：Research purposes:“Code for Design on Retaining Structures of Railway Subgrade "(TB 100025-2006) has been issued on June 25，2006. In order to make designers of railway subgrade better understand and apply this code，it is necessary to generally introduce the revision principle and content of this code.
Research conclusions: “Code for Design on Retaining Structures of Railway Subgrade” in China is a special code for design on retaining structure of railway subgrade and stipulates the requirements for design，calculation and structure for the retaining structures，which is convenient to use. This code is very useful for design and technology improvement of railway retaining structure.
