Abstract:In the paper we have studied the geological-engineering characters of the imbricate fault in Hongqiling high- way-tunnel, because the imbricate fault has caused many collapses during the tunnel discharging,we have analyzed its structure character, mechanics quality, the present tectonic stress field and the pateotectonic stress field and gotten the identifical symbol of the dangerous rock mass by contrasting the mechanics parameters of the rock in the fault and that of beside fault. And finally, we advise that the best methods to control the tunnel distortion are the enhanced long and short distance geological forecast, the suitable spry-concrete and the appropriate steel trestle.
