Abstract：Safety of blasting equipment under thunder environment in the plateau should be regarded as great importance in the construction of Qinghai-Tibet railway line. Safety threat from thunder mainly refers to the direct lightning strike and electromagnetic induction and potential hazard of static electricity induction of the blasting network induced by thunder. Based on related safety rules of blasting, this paper raises measures and suggestions in terms of construction safety for the temporary storage, transport and operation of the blasting equipment under thunder environment in the plateau.
