Abstract：The paper introduces the maintenance system of ICE high speed trains in Germany, TGV high speed trains in France and the high speed tains in japan,as well as the maintenance situation of traditional electric locomotives in China. Tentative ideas are proposed concerned with the maintenance system of high speed electric motor train unit in China in future,including mainly the classifications of repair and ihc indexes of repair period standing time, under repair .etc.
