Abstract：The urban rail communication is an important measure for releasing thoroughly the intensive traffic in major cities. Taking the construction of Mingzhu rail line in Shanghai example,the paper introduces the specialities of constructing elevated bridges for urban communication and its special measures., The practices and experiences of the track laying of the jointless welded rail on the elevated bridges for urban rail communication and on the Jiujiang Changjiang major bridge are also introduced in this paper.
