Abstract：The mountain slope debris flow(MSDF) was a kind of embryonic form debris flow which oc?curred on the stiff slope of the mountain railways. The MSDF hazards were occurred frequently on the Chengdu-Kunming Railway. On the basis of the formation cause of the mountain slop debris paper provides a judgement model for divison of the MSDF risk,and has divided the hazard degrees of the MSDF along Chengdu-Kunming railway into 10 regions.
