Abstract:As the railway major bridge was situated on the railway curves,the bridge beams were usually arranged along as a broken line. Therefore,the sidewalk on bridge beams were arranged also as the broken line. During the construction procedure of the bridge floor system of the Leibei major bridge on the Shuo-Huang Railway, the sidewalk and handrail were constructed according to the arc style, which not only had no influence on the utilization effect of sidewalks,but also increased the aesthetic perception of the major bridge.
