Abstract:The responses of soil temperature profile to construction of engineering piles in permafrost are studied by analyzing the in-situ data. For the specific situation observed, it is found that the soil temperature under observation is raised 0. 7℃,the temperature in the pile decreases to below 0 ℃ in 60 days after reaching its maximum value of 4℃,however, it may be a long process for the soil temperature around the pile to recover its original value.
