Abstract：The w hole seal metho d i s used in cof ferdamming usually, now a circle seal method has been employ ed in steel cof ferdamming fo r a n enlarg ed fo undation in deep w ater of Xinjiang bridge and has go t success. Ci rcle seal metho d i s g enerally int roduced, the quali ty problems happened a nd the methods employed in ci rcle sealing of this bridge a re st ressed. It can be used as an example for the same foundatio n co nst ructio n.
