Abstract：By inv estiga tio n on the spot w ith the karst g eomo rpholog y metho d, the di st ribution, scale and shape of karst cav e in 8 tunnels o f Nanning - Kunming railw ay are fo recasted. The tunnels a re const ructing a nd pass 4 model morpho logic regions in the Yunnan-Gui zhou plateau. Now , the tunnels are constructed. Resul t of co nst ructing v erification explains tha t the fo recast s of ka rst cav e in 7 tunnels except other one tunnel are cor rect or more co rrect. The ex periences for forecasting cov ered ka rst cave are accumula ted.
