Abstract：The place of the enormous railway bridge over the Poyang Lake is to be located in the entrance of the Poyang Lake to the Changjiang River, Because of very complicated geo?logical environment and quite developmental faulted structure in this area,it is very impor?tant for selecting and contrasting these plans for the bridge’s place to use geological explo?ration, It is geophysical prospecting that is one of the major way of comprehensive geological prospecting，we rationally and effectively applied comprehensive geophysical prospecting， have searched out the pattern of rock properties and geologic structure distribution by apply?ing various methods of geophysics，and the result of the geophysical prospecting have been verified perfectly by the drilling，having obtained^ good effectiveness,so the superiority of comprehensive geological prospecting and geophysical prospecting have been abundantly re?vealed ,the importance and necessity of comprehensive analysis and interpretation are also narrated by combining with examples in this paper.
