Abstract:From the point of view that the silt has twofold character of sand and cohesive clay,aimed at the saturated liquefied under the seismic loading,distinguishing with the cone penetration test parameters (core resistance qc,side friction fs , ratio Rf between side friction and cone resistance),the upper and lower limit discriminiant of liquefaction distinguishing is established and liquefying boundary of saturated lilt is defined in this paper. Its distinguish?ing success probability is to 85. 3% which is verified by 75 groups in the different seismic in?tensive regions.
