Abstract：During constructing the double-track railway lines,around the blasting area,there are a lot of important installations,such as railway tracks,high-potential overhead catenary, optical communication cables,etc. Controlling the action of blasting is required to reduce its influence on those important installations. This paper proposes the basic methods of design and calculations of the controlled blasting,so that the blasting engineering can be directed properly and the blasting tasks can be accomplished successfully and safely.
