Abstract：The overpassing trains in the high-speed railways must pass through the points which intersect the nearby railway for changing lines. Designing the intersections are the component parts of the design of the high-speed railway. According to the study result for the number of overpassing trains in pairs in the Xuzhou-Shanghai Section of the Jing-Hu High-speed Railway,this paper suggests the ideas and analyses questions whether the inter?sections are set at Wuxi，Nanjing，Pukou，Bengfu, Fuliji，Xuzhou，etc,and the questions how the inttisections are set. Preliminary ideas on the design range and the design principle are suggested in this paper.
