Improvement and Settlement Control of the Foundation of Ballastless Track Culvert |

Abstract Research purposes: In the design of ballastless track of passenger dedicated railway line, this paper discusses how to improvement and settlement control of the foundation of culvert.
Research methods: Based on analyzing the component of the culvert settlement after construction, considering the roadbed settlement, unevenness development and maintenance capacity, and comparing the investment of prophase construction to the maintenance costs, the reasonable quantity of the settlement after construction for the culvert of ballastless track are gained.
Research results: Through systematically analyzing and comparing, the general measures of culvert foundation improvement are drainage and consolidation method and complex foundation method. According to the roadbed soil type and foundation improvement method, relevant computational theory can be selected to calculate settlement.
Research Conclusions: Because of localization of the settlement computational theory observation in site should be given priority in the forecast of the settlement after construction. Based on analyzing the observation data, the settlement after construction can be forecasted.
