Abstract Research purposes ： The solid bed has been applied extensively in urban mass transit, and it needs route maintenance because defects happen during operation and affect the service life of the solid bed，so it is necessary to treat the defects in time. This paper analyzes the causes for defect production and puts forward the treatment scheme for the purpose of prolonging the service life of the bed and guaranteeing the operation safety.
Research conclusions ： There are several traditional methods for route maintenance of the solid track bed，such as surface imbruing film, pressure pouring concrete and cut repairing. Through studying the advanced technology for treating the defects, nowadays some new methods, new materials and new technologies, such as low pressure pouring concrete to repair gap，using carbon fiber to reinforce and so on, are used to treat the defect along with traditional method, which make the treatment easy and reliable with lower cost.
