Abstract This paper gives an introduction to the management of rapid construction of long length tunnel by adopting sys- tem control theory of engineering geology based on the construction of Jindong and Qihaoling tunnels, describes how to work out construction target, how to ensure stabilization of engineering geology system, how to make a decision for a construction, and presents construction result by adopting system analysis method.
