Abstract The different measures for starting water-cooled engine of construction machine under low temperature arc analyzed based on analysis of its starting procedure in plateau. The suitable measures for starting water cooled engine of construction machine under low temperature, during the construction of Qinghai-Tibet Railway in cold weather arc defined through taking different measures for construction machine.
