Abstract This paper describes the necessity of designing an integral automation monitoring system for substation, presents the test pattern for spacing circuit of integral automation system based on analysis of the monitoring items for spacing circuit of integral automation system and puts forward to set up an integral automation monitoring management system in order to collect, transfer, file and analysis the data.
