Abstract On the basis the concepts of sustainable development, analyzes the importance of sustainable development from concepts' connotation. The advantage and disadvantage of urban underground engineering were dissected roundly. The current situations and existing problems of urban underground engineering were expounded at length. In the end, brought forward reasonable exploitation and utilization for urban underground engineering, drawn a conclusion-the inevitability of moving a sustainable development roadway of urban underground engineering in our country.
