Abstract Based on the specialties of different-type stations on double-tracked railway line and the construction practices on reconstruction of station and yard, the construction scheme for reconstructing station and yard by stopping the up train operation and the down train operation respectively has been proposed, which is convenient for construction, having high efficiency and may guarantee quality more easy. It is a model with valuable reference for reconstruction of station and yard on double-tracked railway lines.
