Abstract The joint-invested railways had been developed greatly in recent 10?20 years in China. Its developing course and the obtained achievements and expriences are expounded deeply in all-round in this paper. From the viewpoint of development strategy,the author proposes the policy,target and standardized management for developing the joint-invested railways furthermore and the measures winch should be adopted. They have important guiding meanings for present railway construction.
