Abstract For railway construction in China in the recent more than 30 years, the railways were usually constructed in the regions with complex and diversified natural conditions and geologic structures. A large amount of problems concerned with very conspicuous geologic works and serious geologic disasters often occurred. The paper puts forward analyses on so much problems perfectly and in detail， and proposes the guiding principles, new conceptions, advanced technologies and specific measures for solving these kinds of problems one by one. They are valuable as reference with guiding meanings for constructing railways in the difficult regions hereafter.
