Abstract Based on the practical application example at Shangrao-Luoqiao Section on Zhe-Gan dou?ble line railway,the author attempts to demonstrate the application mode,method and problems which should be taken into attention for the rock mass control blasting techniques during the construction of the second line along the existing railways or the reconstruction of the station and yard. It is required not only to guarantee the safety of running operation，but also to ensure the successful proceeding of engineering works, These techniques have certain practical meanings and are valualbe for populariza-tion.
