Abstract A lot of deteriorated events have been taken place since prestressed concrete ties arc employed in railway bridge ,and clip bolt fracture is one of such events. By means of establishing mechanical analyzing models，the causes for clip bolt fracture arc investigated and the countermeasures of reducing the clip bolt fracture arc presented in this paper.
