Abstract Acco rding to the new trait in mo derni zed center line survey of g et ting coo rdina tes f rom the Survey and Desig n Insti tute, the pa per choo ses out a mo re fi t coo rdinate system a nd deriv es out a g roup o f new fo rmula fo r arbi trary point in curv e in the sy stem. Hav ing one v ariable, it is not o nly simple fo r understanding , but also fi t fo r o riginal coo rdinate system. The calcula tion procedure o f layout of the engineering curv e may be mo re conv enient.
