Abstract Along with the development of computer technique，network technique and other high science- technologies，architectural discipline facing on a new revolution，the fraditional design and construction methods cannot fulfill the development of modern industries. In order to give a certain understanding on the intelligent buildings，the newly-built traffic control command center in the Ministry of Railw ays is introduced in this paper.
