Abstract The pa per ex po unds the compo nent part s of the AC hy draulic system and the main points in thei r desig n, and presents how to sav e energ y a nd improv e ef ficiency o f the system by chosing chillers rational ly and cor rectly. By analy sing the main ty pes o f desig n for the AC hydraulic system and based on th e compariso n of the v ario us eco nomic functio ns, i t adva nces that the direction o f AC desig n is to use v ariable speed chillers and va riable pumps matching w ith DDC cont ro l system. At the same time, f rom installing angels, the author point s out some pro blems in AC hydraulic system and the methods to so lv e them.
