Abstract In this article，there is an introduction of the origin of the factory-made box girder of railroad and the method of deck plate expanded. Basing upon the process of design and test of the factory-made box girder as a development mode for high-speed and heavy-Ioad, there are some advantages and viewpoints of this box girder to be expounded.
