Abstract As constructing a new petrochemical words, the earlier-stage ground leveling works had the following difficulties ： narrow space for blasting construction t hard rockmass, big leveling area, high quality requirement, and 狂ccordii^ to the design requirement, the di- ameter of bankig materials no more than 30 cm. The paper introduces the process of select- ing the blasting technology for that engineering project and the successful experiences of ap- plying the deep-hole blasting. They are valuable as reference for the application of the blast- ing construction technology in situ.
