Abstract In this thesis,the purpose, characteristics,essentialness and work principle of the comprehensive exploration are discussed. By means of living examples, the thesis shows that the way of comprehensive exploration is effective in improving the quality，raising the effi?ciency and reducing the costs of railway enginerring geology exploration.
