Abstract Topography is a science of study, the dynamic effects of surface shape in rock sphere. In this paper,it is introduced that the geology conditions and the regularities of the geology hazards in its occurrence，development and distribution can be understood by analysing the development stage of river,river terrace，longitudinal valley shape，plane shape evolvement of river,erosion datum,etc,so as to improve the investigation quality of railway engineering.
