Abstract The paper describes briefly the general state of the social economic development of the Zhujiang Delta，its railways’ present situation and existing problems. The requirements on quantity of railways are forecasted. Several suggestions are proposed,such as the target of railway development plan,its proceeding steps and the distribution of railways.
