Abstract The paper pc i nusout that the bridge —building machine with mavable supports is a large-scale building machinery for constructing prestressed concrete girders which are built"span by span at the ordinary positions. It is specially suitable for building medium— span prestressed concrete girders in our country. The author recognizes that the application of the simple—section assembly erection method is the best way for the medium—span girders. Finally?the author intro-duces the specifications and the operating method of the ZQJ —32/56 movable—supports bridge —building machine manufactured by our country,and gives an evaluation on its social and eco?nomic benefits and its popularization forecast.
