Abstract Based on the engineering characteristics and the geological conditions of the Baoji- Chengdu double-track railway line,this paper gives the discussions on the engineering organi?zations and the technological processes of the controlled blasting. A set of working methods have been established for drilling holes, putting in explosives, plugging up and firing. The method for blasting an insolated big rock has been also proposed.
