Abstract This paper discusses the problems concerned with the developments and the rail?way constructions in the coastal region around the Bohai. Various schemes for further strengthening the existing railways and constructing new railway lines，as well as its engi?neering circumstances，traffic volume requirements，etc. are proposed. The paper con?tributes valuable suggestions for planning the railway constructions of our country.
