Abstract The high-speed railway whose distinguishing features are fast, conveniant and comfortable, having the superiorities of high power, low consumption, light pollution, less base-land, low cost，safety，etc，will be able to meet the needs of the modern society. But the key technique may be the disposition and management of its rolling-stock equipments. This paper discusses the selection of rolling-stock parameters，the disposition of equipments and the suitable model of managememt of the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway.
