Abstract As the development model and accumulated experiences of the high-speed passen?ger traffic of other countries are used for reference, the construction of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed special passenger railway line should be imperative under the present circum?stances. Based on the studies on the technical informations of the high-speed train operation and maintenance of other countries，the paper gives a preliminary discussion on the mainte?nance system of our high-speed motorcar units and the disposition of the repair depots.
